the quilt in the background is a gift bub received yesterday from his great great aunt. an elderly friend had given it to her and the friend's mother had made it so we are talking old and hand sewn. Beautiful. I love quilts especially hand sewn ones. Well anything that has been lovingly passed down that has been made with care. This just means that much more because it came from my great aunt. love her.
During Monday's evening walk we heard the first crunch of leaves of the season. Ahh. yesterday someone had a campfire lit and the smell was filling the air as we waited for the boats to roll in for the big fish weigh in. the boys didn't even have a fish to weigh in. ouch.
