Sick Day #1

Home sick today. Slept in. Ate lite. Finished Oogy by Larry Lavine about a rescued dog. Ahh. Trolled blogs. Made a wreath. Started Knitting Season.

Baby It's Cold Outside is one of my favorite Christmas songs.

A cute tag idea via books, paper, scissors by holland on etsy.
Another cute etsy find- stamping on newsprint...

My Cute Stamps has a doable and adorable felt snowflake garland... found via Creature Comforts.
and this would be an original way to display hub's snowflake cutouts this year...
The day is done. Off to sleep it off. Again.

The Sweater and Macarons!

Behold the coin purse sweater from Anthropologie. Lovely. Unique. S came in my office 3 times to take it all in today. Since we discussed it at length earlier this month when she showed it to me online and it sold out overnight, then I searched in the store and the saleslady said they never stocked it. Alas it was in the sale room in Columbus. Behold.

And then the macrons. Yo gifted them to me Sunday. A wondrous day. Gorgeous and light.

Now the coin purse sweater is a small and really a little snug. From the pictures in the second sweater (the one where I am inhaling the macarons) I need to lose about 20 pounds anyway so the coin purse sweater will be my motivator!

Why oh why does Marina think she is a lap dog? Maybe because her pack leader carries her around like one!

Some goodies from the Columbus craft shows.
Bub's centerpiece for the Thanksgiving day meal...
a few online goodies to inspire...

I saw these knitted garlands at Anthropologie. Can I do them?

and a few things to do like make a coffee cozy over at New Green Mama...

A Whole Day without Leaving the House!

Winding down from Thanksgiving dinners by gathering with the hens to make cookies Friday. These women feed my soul. We all gathered our cookie recipes and ingredients and met up at K's to give each other company and conversation while we baked. Honestly, therapy doesn't mend a soul and lift the spirits like a gathering of girlfriends.

and a few pics from the Thanksgiving weekend...

No Outfit Of The Day pic today since I'm relaxing in my stretchy pants and flannel but I noticed I forgot to post this pic from a few weekends ago...

I also noticed I didn't post my Columbus pics from last weekend...
