The boy slept over at a friend's after homecoming. I finally called to tell him he needed to return to me. Then I cooked him a small snack of 7 scrambled eggs. Then Hubs came home from a fishing tournament at Rocky.

Goodbye September

Today I played in the studio and finished my September cards. I listened to podcasts about Amy Winehouse documentary and one about Do I Sound Gay. Guys who have a 'sound' are classified as gay but do girls have a sound like that?

Yesterday I finished Girl on the Train. Not a favorite. Very Gone Girlish which was also not my favorite. A page turner no doubt but I need to connect more with my books. Even my cozies I need more character in my characters. 

Snow day..

On our snow day off Hubs and I watched Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit- not so great. I won't remember any of it. Luckily I cruised Facebook and Pinterest while watching.

This morning Hubs made eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy while I tried to salvage my cards I started for the card exchange. The cards didn't work so back to square one.

The anticipation of a trip is half the fun

Yesterday was the fourth of July. Midsummer. I was home all day going through my summer pinterest board, making projects, moving some to my Hilton Head board for food, exercise, activities. Good stuff. Good times. M came over for awhile and brought her bags for the HHI trip and some mason jars! She said she just has too many! Who can have too many mason jars! So I'm splitting with Yo to spread the wealth. Lovely. Today will be more of the same. I like my goals sheet I made yesterday.


The anticipation of a trip is half the fun. Yesterday's pinning was exciting. I hope this turns into an annual trip of girls who get along and have a relaxing time.

 M. is moving soon. Bubs is upset because he loves her pond. So I took him out to say goodbye.

 Yesterday I went blueberry picking then to the farmers market in Milford.

 The dogs (and me) are getting lazy so we went for a good long walk.

 And then we didn't move for the rest of the evening.

 Went to Snooty, Goodwill and Salvation Army with Ginger. Found some goodies. 2 dresses (one Spledid) for $1. and a Michael Simon shirtdress.

 Thrifted Michael Kors dress, vintage sweater, and a scissor shirt. Oh and those boots! I've been wanting a pair that are folded like that! I pulled a ball out of a bag and got 50% off. That made them $5!
