My apple farm semi retired after their crop failed this year. The boys and I found another farm A&M close to home and actually enjoyed picking our own apples. Golden Delicious.

 The lake autumn leaves are so gorgeous when they reflect in the evening on the water.

We had spirit week last week and this was my ugly sweater. I bought it in Florida at a church rummage sale.

Festivaling this past weekend and picked up a few things...

Book PJ's?!?!

Catching up on some summer activities...Finished reading Infidel and really eyeopening about the Muslim faith, the Middle East and such. Here I am at Yo's in my new book pjs. Marina got tired of watching all the little dogs sleeping in this little bed so she crawled in to check it out.

 Every body took a turn in this little bed while I worked or read in her craft room.

 We went to Olives for dinner. Yo had eaten there recently and raved about it. Well deserved it was delicious.

 The pizza baker finished up right when I walked up with my camera but he offered to do another just so I could take some pics. He was actually pretty flattered by it.

 The fabulous salad, pizza, and such.

 Bub's ordered pasta alfredo.

 Later at home my veggies started coming in... and I tested out Yo's OPI Russian Navy.

 We took one evening to take some friends out to Mongolian Grill since they had never experienced it.

 Finally an OOTD!

 We took a late evening swim across the street and down at the lake beach.

 And yet another OOTD returning from helping my mom hold a yard sale.

 Bub's has spent an unbelievable amount of time on this machine I can't stand because it worries me so...

May Madness

 This is one of those days I was at work for something like 12 hours with work, meetings and something I don't even remember...

 Marina is like my second child. Her toys are everywhere. Tonight she had them all gathered in the bedroom; when I was ready to go to bed, she was ready to play.

 Listening to...

 Marina loves to act like she is going to attack me. I'm sure onlookers are concerned for my safety.

 The honeysuckles are smelling like spring.

 The ducks are on the move looking for somewhere to roost I suppose.

 And she has circled around the house while I was coming up the drive.... ATTACK!

 No nests this year but the birds are singing.

 Last weekend was our communities yard sales. I picked up a moth sweater, a polo sweater and a Bengals sweatshirt for Bubs.

 I picked up a box of canning jars.

 I picked up these vintage postcards at the rummage sale in Florida. I'll write a post about them once I get a chance to go through them.

 From what I can gather they are all to a nun so this postcard gives me hope she has a sense of humor.
