i got my nails painted. again. starting over. again.
i finished listening to NPR's Fresh Air... Dan Gottleib talked about how his wife raged about how his coworkers treated him when he returned to work and she will never forgive them while he had the opportunity to work it out. those who watch us suffer often have a harder time than we do. this rings so true with me and how people treat my husband and child. they forgive, let go and work around the way they get treated sometimes while i hold on and remember. can't get past it at times. i understood this but i really get it the way he described it.
Two pics from What I Wore Today with button up shirts. actually the same shirt looks like. i have dozens of button down shirts and rarely wear them. i just can't seem to do much other than wear them with trousers and tuck them in. i hate tucking. but i'm gonna work on wearing them more this work year. also the boots with skirts. especially the cowgirl boots in summer. i like the look but it doesn't work for me.
i found several consignment/thrift stores on vacation. i think i added about 8 Michael Stars shirts to my collection. they actually take up 1/2 of the top of my closet. i bought 3 off a consignment
clearance rack in Fort Lauderdale for $3. each. i bought 2 from Salvation Army on Key Largo for a few dollars each. john talked a guy down to $10. from $20 at a consign in Fort Lauderdale for a Lilly Pullizer pink terry hoodie zip up.went to dinner at Butterbees with some friends... i love how easy some friendships are.
